Acupunctuur is een holistische geneeskunst. Het is altijd lastig om in een notendop uit te leggen wat acupunctuur inhoudt, maar ik ga het proberen! In een lichaam loopt een netwerk van meridianen. Elke meridiaan heeft z’n eigen specifieke eigenschappen en kwaliteiten. Wanneer mensen bij mij in de praktijk komen, dan is een disbalans ontstaan met als uitingsvorm: de klacht of klachten. Door flinterdunne naalden in acupunctuurpunten ( gelegen op de meridianen) te plaatsen geef ik nieuwe informatie aan jouw super intelligente lichaam. Het lichaam gaat met deze nieuwe informatie aan de slag, met als doel om de klacht te verlichten en het liefst helemaal te verhelpen. Oftewel het zelfgenezende mechanisme van het lichaam wordt geactiveerd.
